
Marcus Martinez is the founder and senior pastor of Destiny &
Dominion Word Ministries (DDWM) inToronto Ontario Canada.
DDWM is a fast growing multicultural ministry that is impacting the city of Toronto and the nation of Canada. With more than 15 years in ministry Marcus Martinez is committed to equipping the saints to fulfill their God-given Destiny.
Marcus Martinez received the vision for DDWM in 1999 while visiting Toronto. He held his first church service with six people in attendance. Over the years the ministry grew and continues to grow rapidly. In 2003, Marcus Martinez pioneered Destiny & Dominion Bible Training Centre in affiliation with Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College Tampa Florida. He had a vision of starting a television ministry that came to life and aired for the first time (“It’s Your Destiny”) in March 2008. “It’s Your Destiny” television program is continually impacting the Canadian viewers.
Marcus Martinez was born in Trinidad & Tobago and migrated to the United States as a young boy with his family. He graduated from Faith Theological Seminary College in Tampa Florida and Rhema Bible Training Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He started serving in Ministry as an Intern Associate Minister in Tampa, Florida. He continued as a Youth Pastor in the Cayman Islands where he sat on the National Youth Task Force Board. Marcus was given the assignment to develop a youth policy that was used as a reference tool for all Youth Development initiatives within the Cayman Government. On entry into Canada he worked as a Youth and Associate Pastor and as a Senior Case Manager for the Youth Criminal Justice System in Toronto.

Marcus Martinez is known for his practical approach to the Bible, to see people of all nations and cultures, which represent the Kingdom of God, reflected in his ministry. He will challenge you to leave the place of mediocrity and to step into the arena of faith, integrity, excellence and diligence for your lives.
Marcus has a big heart for the body of Christ and a desire to build and develop new churches, to strengthen pastors through mentorship. He believes every church must be equipped with the skills to become a growing body, living and exemplifying the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit in their communities. He pastors and teaches under the leading of the Holy Spirit, challenging Christians to live victoriously, grow spiritually, know God intimately and walk into their destiny. |
